Jamarcus Grant was born on December 18, 1986 in Mullins, South Carolina. He graduated from Mullins High School in 2005, completing a football career that launched him to be the #36 offensive tackle in the nation.

After redshirting his 2005 season with the Clemson Tigers, Jamarcus Grant played just 3 games in 2006 due to a foot injury from lifting weights in the preseason.

In 2007, Jamarcus Grant was put on the reserve list as an offensive guard and saw little playing time. We'll have to wait and see if he is ready to play for 2008 and stays healthy and strong.
