Desmond Brown is a redshirted freshman and safety for the Clemson Tigers football team.

Prior to joining the Clemson Tigers football roster, Brown attended Cherokee County High School in Centre, Alabama. Due to his successful high school football career, Brown was ranked No. 24 safety in the nation and the No. 12 overall player in Alabama by Rivals.com Desmond Brown was also an All-Southeast Region team member by PrepStars and led his Cherokee football team to the state AAAA title. Desmond Brown is a skilled and flexible player, with the ability to excel at many positions including running back, cornerback and wide receiver.

After turning down offers from Arkansas to Mississippi State, Brown decided to attend Clemson University to play for the Tigers.
