Corico Hawkins is a first-team middle linebacker for the Clemson Tigers football team. At Clemson University, Hawkins started his college career off strong by playing in nine of the fourteen games of his freshman season as well as the ACC Championship game. Hawkins was also lucky enough to start in the Music City Bowl where he had a strong game at defense.

Prior to joining the Clemson Tigers football roster, Hawkins attended Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, Georgia. At Baldwin High School, Corico Hawkins was rated the No. 10 inside linebacker in the nation by ESPN.com and was a member of the Southeast All-Region team by PrepStar. Hawkins chose Clemson University over many other offers by highly ranked universities, including Miami and Florida State.
