Akeem Robinson is the son of two track stars and was himself a stand-out on the basketball court before turning seriously to college football.

After redshirting his freshman season in 2004, Akeen Robinson played in 6 of the 12 games as a reserve in 2005. In 2006, Akeem Robinson started 9 games for the Clemson Tigers. He played a season-high 43 snaps in a win over Georgia Tech and graded 91%.

In 2007, Akeem Robinson was a co-first team tight end. Akeem Robinson is also strong off the field. Nearly every semester, Akeem Robinson has made the academic honor roll and is now a graduate student in sociology.
